I gotovo!

EN: Did you know that you can paint on your clothes? Here is a quick and fun way to refashion a boring clohing item, and also it may be a good idea for an original gift. Animal print is very grateful because it does not require precision, but the result is very striking. Anyway, there are a million possibilities, and this is just one of the simplest.

  1. Buy a textile paint. The color I bought is Pebeo. Of course, the black is not the only color you can find. Be sure to read the instructions before using!
  2.  Choose where to paint. It is important that you match the material of clothes to the washing temperature that color you bought tolerates. The one I used can be washed in the washing machine at no more than 30 degrees. (This sweatshirt has been worn and washed many times. The first time one layer of paint was washed off,  but after that there were no any drastical changes.) So, do not choose a cotton white T-shirt that must be washed at 90 degrees, as the color probably won’t stay.
  3. Paint! You’ll need a brush of appropriate thickness. The color I used was not supposed to be mixed with water. Take some paint with your brush and put it into the cover of the bottle or on a little plate, stir a bit and you are ready! If something go wrong the paint will probably wash away as long as you don’t iron over that part.
  4. Iron over the paint. This type of paint is fixed by ironing, so you are only left to iron according to the instructions. And it’s done!

How do you like this? Have you tried something similar? If you do this, please share! Happy priting!
