subtle futuristic everyday fashion

EN: Futuristic fashion is impressive because of its hyper-modernity and constant effort to relocate us from everyday world, or rather, to bring another world in front of us, may that be the world of high technology, the future or extraterrestrial phenomena. It is only a reflection of man’s desire for progress and development, that was clearly revealed after the Middle Ages and was speeding up according to the principle of acceleration. European man has always felt the urge to expand out of his continent, this planet and this time. No matter how this can be destructive, we must admit that human imagination and creativity that are shown in breaking and moving boundaries are fascinating.

Futuristic fashion has always amazed me because of its strangeness, mysticism and in fact, the amount of imagination that is needed to be created. Some garments with futuristic elements, for example designed by Pierre Cardin, one of my favorite designers ever, seem to me as bombs packed of a huge amount of creative energy, which still act so powerfully modern and futuristic.

I am aware that we can not dress like aliens to work and to school, but we can accept some futuristic postulates in order to make our daily style more original and free ourselves from being slaves to boring fashion clichés. Liz B Quincy Moonstone Ring that I wear in these photos is the perfect example of futuristic breaking of conventional idea of how a ring should look like.

The ring is the work of jewelry designer Li Ying, that uses gemstones for those beautiful creations. This Quincy Moonstone Ring is made of brass plated with rhodium and contains the moonstone in the middle and topaz on the sides. What astonishes me about this ring is that the innovative form is achieved, but at the same time the subtlety and ethereal tenderness is retained, while the futuristic fashion usually is very aggressive.

Moonstone enhances intuition and creative energy, so it is no wonder that I was inspired by this ring to make the top you see in the pictures. This is my example of everyday look with elements of futuristic fashion. Do not forget that clothing should express your unique personality. We can learn how to get rid of uniformity if we allow ourselves a bit to become futurists.

SR: Futuristička moda je impresivna zbog svoje hiper-modernosti i zbog stalnog napora da nas izmesti iz svakodnevnog sveta, ili bolje rečeno, da pred nas iznese jedan drugi svet, bio to svet  visoke tehnologije, budućnosti ili vanzemaljskih pojava. Ona je samo odraz čovekove žudnje za napredkom i razvojem, koja se posle srednjeg veka jasno obelodanila i zahuktavala sve više, po principu ubrzanja. Evropskom čoveku je uvek bilo tesno na svom kontinentu, na ovoj planeti, u ovom vremenu. Koliko god ta težnja može biti destruktivna, moramo priznati da su fascinantne sposobnosti ljudske imaginacije i kreacije koje se ospoljavaju u probijanju i pomeranju uvek novih granica.

Futuristička moda me je oduvek zadivlajvala zbog svoje neobičnosti, mističnosti i zapravo, količine mašte koja je potrebna da bi se stvorila. Uvek mi se činilo da su neki komadi sa futurističkim elementima, npr. Pjera Kardena, jednog od mojih omiljenih dizajnera, kao neke bombe nabijene ogromnom količinom kreativne energije, koje i danas deluju tako snažno moderno i futuristički.

Svesna sam da se ne možemo oblačiti kao vanzemaljci na posao i u školu, ali možemo prihvatiti neke futurističke postulate kako bismo naš svakodnevni stil učinili originalnijim i kako bismo se oslobodili robovanja dosadnim modnim klišeima. Liz B Quincy Moonstone prsten koji nosim na ovim fotografijama  savršen je primer futurističkog razbijanja konvencionalnih predstava o tome kako prsten sa dragim kamenom treba da izgleda.

Prsten je delo dizajnerke nakita Li Ying, koja koristi drago i poludrago kamenje za svoje kreacije. Ovaj Quincy Moonstone prsten je od mesinga prevučenog rodijumom i sadrži mesečev kamen u sredini i topaz sa strana. Ono što me zadivljuje u vezi sa ovim prstenom je što je postugnuta inovativnost oblika i u isto vreme zadržana suptilnost i eterična nežnost, dok je futuristička moda najčešće veoma agresivna.

Mesečev kamen pojačava intuitivnost i kreativnu energiju, tako da nije ni čudno što me je ovaj prsten ispirisao da napravim top koji vidite na slikama. Ovo je moj primer svakodnevnog izgleda sa futurističkim elementima. Ne zaboravite da odeća treba da izražava vašu jedinstvenu ličnost, a kako da se oslobodimo uniformisanosti možemo naučiti upravo ako malo dozvolimo sebi da postanemo futuristi.
