black and beige

EN: Black is perfectly highlighted by the simple beige base – a flannel top and a mini skirt, which I made and wear them both together and separately, as they are perfect for emphasizing a variety of accessories. Here I chose them to be all black. I like that contrast because it’s not as sharp as black and white. I also designed and sewed this clutch. Lately I’ve been crazy for fringes, but I prefer them in a modern context. The bag is made of false leather. It’s small and practical, yet you can put a lot of things in it – even some medium-sized book! (I always unconsciously measure the usefulness of a bag by how many books it could accept, because somehow I always find myself dragging books along. Deformation …) l’m specially proud of the fact that the whole front surface to which the fringes are sewn is actually a front pocket with one snap. I can easily slip my mobile there and at the same time regularly watch my mom getting anxious because someone will steal my phone that way. Every time.

SR: Crna se odlično ističe na jednostavnoj bež osnovi – mini suknji i majici od flanela, koje sam napravila i nosim ih i zajedno i nezavisno, jer su savršeni kao podloga za različite detalje. Ovde sam izabrala sve crno, jer mi se sviđa taj kontrast koji je nije tako oštar kao odnos crnog i belog. Torbicu  sam takođe dizajnirala i sašila. U poslednje vreme sam luda za resama, ali u nekom modernom kontekstu. Torbica je od eko kože, mala i praktična, a opet može dosta stvari u nju da stane – čak i neka srednja knjiga! (Inače, ja korisnost torbe uvek nesvesno merim po tome koliko može knjiga da prihvati, jer nekako uvek vučem neku sa sobom. Deformacija…) Specijalno sam ponosna na to što je ceo prednji deo na koji su našivene rese u stvari prednji džep sa drikerom, u koji mogu lako da spustim mobilni i ujedno svaki put izazovem zgražavanje moje mame – jer neko će mi tako ukrasti telefon! Inače, taj džep je savršen i za brzo potezanje bus plus kartice.
